Two BIG Avi files to Dvd with CCE

Can anyone show me an EASY way to convert my 2 AVI files ( 12 + 16 GB each ) using CCE ?

I used the CCE 2.66 guide from DOOM9.net which is VERY simple even for me.My main problem is what settings should i use because the avi files are made from VHS tapes ( with preety good quality though ).In CCE quality settings i used NATURAL PICTURE and it gave me preety good results.All other settings are the same as the guide shows.Any hints about the settings ?

Because the source is VHS, you may consider a low resolution encode: 352x576 for PAL, 352x480 for NTSC (both are DVD compatible).

I'd use some filtering as well, e.g. a denoiser, maybe a little sharpening and colour correction. This can be done using AviSynth.
