Does anybody here knows if exist a software that i can edit directly the VOBīs files withou lost the quality?

Hy Dave82,

I like iīm using the Adobe Premiere... put transitions like fade in and fade out, join videos... and i want to do this with VOBīs becaouse if i have a VOB, converto to avi, I lost quality, I think. So, if i can make this directly in VOB, i think that I wounīt lost quality... could you understand me?

OK, I understood...
Look, I'm just shooting in the dark because I don't know Premiere, but if it could edit video and audio streams at the same time, you could demux your vobset with VOBEdit to obtain a mpeg-2 video (*.m2v) and probably an ac3 audio. Then you could import them in Premiere (provided that it supports these files ;) ). At the end of your editing you could remux them with any authoring program (even IFOEdit).

But, what's exactly then *.m2v file?? Is only a conversion??

It's just the extension for mpeg-2 video files ;)
