1-pass VBR

Hi all,

I've just read the guide and finished the 1st backup of my movies using the Big3. It was great, very good quality, plus menu. Thanks for such wonderful guides and apps!

I've been doing backup (DVD to DVD) with D2SRoBa (using CCE). The quality is very good and fast. I tried the Big3 becuse I like the movie menu which D2SRoba lacks.

I would like to ask if there is a way to set up DIF4U or BatchCCEWS to encode the same way D2SRoba does, which is finding the Q value and then do a 1-pass VBR.

Since now, there is no way.

thats something that may be in the works.. since higher quality can be acheived with multipass it hasnt been made a priority.

From what I read from the D2S forum, the quality is extremely good. Here is a cut and paste from it about D2SRoba....

It is actually better, IMHO. But don’t take my word for it. See for yourself!
