No coincidence, but I'm doing some tests with Lost in Translation. It's a wonderful movie, and the cinematography is gorgeous, you should try with that. There are countless scenes in it that would make for good comparisons. I'd try it with 800kbps and 1600kbps (something that should look average, and the other being quite high for any encode).
Also, about the presentation thing...yeah.;)
It's tough to A/B images because you want to zoom, but at the same time when you flick back and forth with Windows Picture Viewer, it flickers between and the zoom is lost (perhaps capture them zoomed a little). I'd also just test with 10-15 candidates this time because some of them look obviously horrible in contrast to others.
