Hey all, I'm having some problems converting my home movies to DVD. I'm using a PVR-250 to do my analog capture, etc. and authoing with TMPGEnc DVD Author (audio is LPCM).
My problem is this: If I play my burned disc on a regular DVD player everything comes out just fine, same thing if I play with PowerDVD direct from the hard drive. However, if I play with PowerDVD from the DVD itself the audio is substantially out of sync within a minute or two. It doesn't seem to get progrssively worse, but is clearly a few seconds off. I have tried this on several computers and get the same result so it isn't an obvious hardware issue and the fact that I get perfect playback with the other two methods would make it seem as though the authoring process is going ok (I've tried a few different times with a few different videos and always get this result).
If I try to play the disc with WMP9 (still using the PowerDVD codecs) I get no audio at all.
Does anyone have any idea what causes this? It's almost like the buffering from the disc is on a delay of some kind (settings are all proper in device manager).
Thanks.
