Hi,
I have not already installed DVD2SVCD But it looks a great software (and a great solution for me) - so congratulations !

My quastion is: (I have installed the Panasonic dv codec so) can I encode with this software avi files with out muxing video and audio etc.?
Is the input format for this software is only DVD Discs (Is the software was done only for this purpose)?

If there is a way (easy way) to load avi file please explain how to do it because I need this software only for my camcorder's videos compression.

Thanks,
Mark.

DVD2SVCD may be the name of this software but it has come a long way since then!

It now supports DVD, AVI or PVA input and will convert any of these to VCD, SVCD or DVD right up to image files.

I think it should be just what you're looking for. Install it, launch it, go to the Misc tab and check the boxes for the input and output format you require.

Cheers
Nick

Hi again :)
I've installed DVD2SVCD, great software, all the functions I need in one software!

So my quastion is: Can I encode into svcd file (mpv, mpg), instead of an image file?

Thanks, Mark.

Go to the "images" tab and check "no images". If you want mpv and mpa elementary streams, tick the "don't delete any files" in the "misc" tab.
