Hello! I have a question,
Well I would like to convert dvd2dvd but using over virtualdub mod frameserving either Vobs or avi file (since im not sure if vdub mod will load vobs correctly for frameserving)
But the thing is this : DVD2DVD is awesome program, but when doing dvd2dvd with external subtitles those external subtitles when permanent on movie arent so sharp on very light scenes in the movie, while if i would use text2sub filter for virtual(installing vobsub) dub i would get incredibly great looking subs and then frameserve it into avi2xxx.
But then i would have problem, for instance if original dvd audio is Dts or ac3, then using vdubmod frameserving i would loose DTS or ac3 original audio.
So i have 2 questions:
1. Is it possible to frameserve from vdub to d2s any avi file or original vob files so that audio will be original ac3 or dts?(so i can have great looking subs and original audio like i would do normally dvd2dvd)
2. Is it possibe when using normal dvd2dvd method using external subtitles somehow to get good looking subs and sharp, like when do normal process dvd2dvd with original subs?
question number 2: would be much better priority if possible (but so far i dont see a way how to get over it)
I mean when external subtitles DVD2DVD added directly when a bit backround(a bit black) is added its okay, but i was wondering maybe you guys have better solution, and after all for me using vdub filter for subtitles for me subtitles are looking the way i want it to look.
Thanks!
