Hi there,
is it possible to manipulate a dv stream directly in real-time?
To be more precise: for a party, I want to do some visuals with a dv cam (sony something, has firewire). I thought about capturing the dv stream (well, I understand that capturing is not really applicable here - let's say grabbing frames :-) ), throwing some avisynth-filters in and leta beamer throw the result on a wall.
Now, the question is: is there any way of getting the dv stream displayed with a direct show-based media player? I could then use ffdshow, which allegedly provides a ffdshow interface ...
Thank you for your help,
Thoralf.
