Ive been coverting OGM to DVD. Im trying to find the fastest way to do this, since I have alot of files to do. So far, ive extracted the .avi divx and .ogg audio from the OGM file. Then I converted the ogg to ac3, then muxed the .avi and .ac3. I found another program that will convert OGM to avi in one shot, but i think i might be losing quality with all these conversions.

Is there a way to convert a video only .avi file with DVD2SVCD? Ive tried doing this, but it gives me a message saying "No audio stream selected", and it hangs. I mainly want to get a .m2v video file, so I can import this into DVD Lab to author. DVD2SVCD converts a full .avi file to a muxed.mpg file on default.

Any suggestions, please comment. Thanks

I would do it over vdub mod frameserving into avi2dvd
utYou load original avi in vdubmod then stream-streamlist and disable audio.
then you start frameserver save vdr file, then open it into link2 (i would recommend u have full regged version) or vfapi do conversion, and after its done, load that fake avi into avi2dvd, and that should be it, encoding will be slower than original encoding since its frameserving from vdub but that should be it. I guess you know the rest :)

I am searching for method that to frameserve from vdub vob with dts, or ac3 or either to have avi with ac3 and frameserve it through avi2xxx, because of beautiful subtitles, but noone replied yet for my post.

Hope that this helped you a bit.
