Hello.
I'd like to announce the launch of my 32kbps dial-up bitrate listening test

The formats featured are Ahead HE AAC+PS, Ogg Vorbis, WMA9 Std., MP3pro, Real Audio and QDesign Music Codec.

Lame MP3 is being used as low anchor, and a lowpass at 7kHz is being used as high anchor.

For further information on how to participate, visit the test announcement page:
http://www.rjamorim.com/test/32kbps/presentation.html

The test is scheduled to end at July 11th.

Thank-you very much.

Best regards;
Roberto Amorim.

Hi,
Would you please also conduct a test of multiple aac codecs featuring the new quicktime 6.6 aac encoder you guys got. I can't register at hydrogen audio for some reason.
Thanks

dont use a "mass"-mailaccount (hotmail, yahoo, etc) to register. use the one from e.g. your ISP.

(participating in the test :) )

Well, QT 6.6 hasn't even been officially released yet.

Besides, there has been too few development since the last AAC@128kbps listening test. I think a new test would only be justifiable next year.

Ok that seems fair enough :). Also are you planning on doing a > 128k multiple format test maybe 160 or 192? Cuase that is the one now that seems to be missing from your page
Thanks

Here (http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/index.php?showtopic=22699&hl=listening) is a discussion about a 192 kbps listening test. as can be read there, conducting such a listening test will cause several problems. (but in a way thats actually a good thing :) )
