OPV and Version questions?

First off I hear so much about OPV setting within CCE SP and Im wondering where its at? Im using version 2.50 and I can't seem to find it anywhere to turn it on. Also, is there much advantage to getting a newer version of SP? I heard someone mention that 2.50 doesnt have automatic pulldown detection. Im guessing this would be good for dvd's from tv source such as episodes? any suggestions would be great.. thanks.

Im using DVDRB 0.54 and CCE 2.50.
