I've got a 720x480 capture done with a Hauppauge PVR 250, which I want to re-encode inot an OGM container. I've tried the following current generation codecs (DivX, Xvid, VP6.2, and H.264), of thethe codes the best quality wise at 1022 is VP6.2, however it is very slow (6 to 8 FPS), so I went with DivX (22-25FPS) with an OGG audio stream. Therefore I open the MPEG2 stream into VitrualDubMod (lastest build 1.5.10.1 build 2439) and extract the Audio as a WAV file then re-encode it into an OGG file (as I could not find any codec that works to encode OGG through VirtualDub, does such a beast exist?), once I have the OGG file I place it into the OGM stream (set as direct stream copy), next I re-encode the MPEG2 stream using 3 filters (sharpen 15%, deinterlace, and resize 640x480). and Remux the DivX video and OGG sound into an OGM container, now the problem is te the sound is out of sync in about 2 in 5 videos, ideas as to why and how to fix this?

Thanks,
