Chapters in avi movie

Hello!

I have a dvd player that can read mpeg4 movie files
and I wonder if there's a way to create a chapter list
or something like that,that I could run through the
movie like in a dvd movie.

i don't think this would help.

As i know there are no DVD-Player available, which can read any of existing DivX-Menue-storage-systems.

The biggest chance to get a dvd-player which understand Menus are, when you have
- Matroska File
- OGM-File

but there isnt a lot of hardware support for Matroska and OGM (none to my knowledge)
