I had a problem where a DVD-R I authored froze a second or two on my Pioneer DV-333 after any chapter was selected. Someone suggested that the ac3 audio file may need to be fixed. I ran ac3fix on it but it reported no errors. I wa also told to try Besplit/Beslice to fix the original ac3.
I downloaded both and tried to run the GUI (besliced), but it shows up as a small picture. The docs said to drag the original ac3 file onto the icon and select 'fix' , but all I get is that picture again. I downloaded it from here. How do I run this to test and corrupt an ac3 file?
