Trying to make a mono AC3. Who do I have to kill to do it?

From what I can tell you have to sell your soul in order to convert * -> mono AC3. All I want to do is convert a Stereo AC3 to a mono AC3, since it appears as though the audio is mono anyway. (and I hate to waste space) I've tried with BeSweet but I can't find any GUI buttons to do it. I'm assuming I have to custom modify the command line but I don't know where or how. Can anybody point me in the right direction?

well it would be a waste of space to convert it to mono because the chances are the bitrate would have to be about the same to retain quailty, and there's no killing around here.
