I've found that when converting various avi's (divx/xvid) using D2S at the end I've ended up with the movie in the wrong order.
I believe this is a known bug with D2S where it messes it up right at the end - during the 2nd part of the bit where it feeds it through Sonic Scenarist. I've had a look at the output at different stages, the one big vob in the DVD-mux folder is fine and in the right order, whereas the end one puts chapter 2 somewhere in the middle, chapter 3 and 4 at the end and chapter 5 follows chapter 1.
I've had a look at the IFO file in IFO edit and I think I can see where the error seems to lie. The thing is there seems to be a long way round of fixing it involving copying down the required values then completely rewriting the VTS_PGC_1 section manually.
Is there an easier way of doing this? Another program maybe? Or is this the only way? Also, would changing these values mess things up big style?
It may be quicker to re-encode the movie and hope that it all works properly this time, but I've already tried that three times.
I would like to point out that this is the first time I've played with IfoEdit or indeed IFO files in general.
