I tried QuEnc today and created some 25 min m2v files by feeding it Real Media streams via AviSynth. I also saved the audio stream separately using VDub 1.5.10 and converted the waves to mp2 with TooLame. But when I tried to author a DVD with IfoEdit 0.96 I get a fatal Application Error (instruction at 0x00.. tried to reference memory at 0x000...)
However if I use the alternate route AVS -> GraphEdit and dump the video stream (Huffyuv compressed), then encode to m2v with BBMpeg, I get an mpeg2 video file that I can successfully author with IfoEdit.
QuEnc options were "normal" ie. HQ, VBR, 2pass, no trellis, default advanced options. I tried other combinations but no change. I also don't think its an issue with the audio stream since I can use audio derived via a number of routes with the BBMpeg ancoded video stream.
