View Full Version : DVD2AVI makes invalid .d2vs?

I downloaded DVD2AVI 1.77.3 and used it to open a .m2v file (which was created by demuxing a .mpg with TMPGEnc 2.521.58.169). I then used "Save Project" to create a .d2v file. I was apparantly able to do this once before successfully, but this most recent one, when I try to use it as Video Input in TMPGEnc Wizard, I get an error: Invalid video source If I add it "manually", it seems to work fine, but the resultant .mpg has no video.

I noticed that A) when I preview this second .m2v, I don't see any video, and B) when I'm saving the project, the time is about half of what the successful one was, even though the file sizes are almost the same. So, it almost appears like the .m2v is bad, but I created it the exact same way... MPEG Tools, Simple Demux in TMPGEnc There are no options or buttons... it just demuxes. Both original .mpgs are, of course, fine.

So... what's the best way to get a good video file that TMPGEnc will work with? I'm aware of DGMPGDec, but have another issue with it (it complains about no decompressor for fourcc YV12) and am looking for an answer there, too.
