errors using TMPGEnc Plus

Hi,

I'm getting errors using TMPGEnc to convert Divx to SVCD. This is the error i'm getting below..

File "F:\End Of Days Divx.avi" can not open, or unsupported.

This is what i did to try to fix the problem.

Option-->Environmental Setting-->VFAPI plug-in--> unticked AVI2 (OpenDML) File Read. Click OK until all boxed are closed. Close TMPGEnc, re-open, try to load the movie again and the same error. What should i do now?? Please reply back ASAP. Thanx..

Do you have the divx codec or a direct show filter installed?

Sometimes, tmpgenc doesn't like long file names.
Rename it to eod.avi and try that.

Try using avisynth, it usually sorts out most problems like this.
