Hi -
I posted a question in the newbie forum but didn't really get the answer I was looking for.
The thread is here (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=78362). It would be fantastic if someone here could have a look and help me do some investigation work and help me find what I'm doing wrong, and how to fix it.

Hi-
In the other thread you said:
video: 46:25.78
audio: 46:24.55So, a 1.23 second difference between the two. Is that accurate? All of a sudden at the beginning of the second chapter the audio goes off by that much? You can confirm that by opening the audio in HeadAC3he (http://www.doom9.org/Soft21/Audio/headac3he-0.23a.rar) and comparing the audio length given by HeadAC3he with the video length as given by VDubMod. At the place between the 2 chapters, is there a period of black frames? If so, then cut them out during the encoding to bring the length of the video down to the length of the audio.
You have 30 frames per second, or 36 frames for the entire 1.23 second asynch. Use the Trim command to get rid of those 36 frames. Say that the first black frame is at frame 1000, then edit your .avs to add this at the bottom:
Trim(0,999)+Trim(1036,0)
I think that'll work. If not, then this will:
A=Trim(0,999)
B=Trim(1036,0)
A+B
