I've been using GKnot with no problems for a long time now. Love it. Every once in awhile, however, I seem to get bad VOBs. I use DVD Decrypter to rip the VOBs onto my drive. I first realize they're bad when I open them up in DVD2AVI and preview them. The same frames will skip back over each other and it's very jerky. When I watch the actual VOBs the same thing happens. The DVD plays just fine when I play it standard though.

Any information on why this happens and how I can make it stop would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Drew

Just a guess: You may not be ripping in IFO mode, and instead, you may be ripping in File mode.

If that's the case, then simply stop using File mode.

IFO mode is required to provide streams from a single angle of a single program chain (PGC). In File mode, you can have multiple angles, and multiple PGCs.
