Hi there

Have been unable to find anything in the forums dealing with this.

Basically, GK has gone futt on me.
All of a sudden today (it was working fine yesterday), I cannot crop.
The auto-crop button has disappeared even after loading a file into DVD2AVI.
Furthermore, I cannot crop manually using the pixel button.
Lastly when DVD2AVI initially loads files it doesn't jump to part way through the video file as per usual.
The only things that have changed recently are that I started cropping manually, and that I have installed some programs totally unrelated to video editing.

I am unable to crop anything, even manually - when I crop, the counter increases as per usual, but in DVD2AVI nothing happens.

I have tried reinstalling everything numerous times, without any change.

As a last resort I am going to uninstall the programs that i have recently installed, but I cannot see how they can be an issue, they really are totally and utterly unrelated to video editing.

Try re-installing to new location. Perhaps this will help, if it is some registry conflict. :) ( Just a thought! )

Thanks for the reply, I'm sorry to have wasted your time :(

Hmmm. Hmmm.
Never thought of myself as stupid, but now I seriously have to consider the possibility.
Needless to say, there is no bug or problem with GK, I have been quite simply over the last few days completely, utterly, mind-bogglingly moronic.
Quite embarrassing, so I'm not going into details lol.
I can only blame it on having had a cold - seems I sneezed my brains out a couple of days ago.
My actions over the last days cannot be ranked among the actions of sentient beings.
Please all and sundry ignore these posts, and forget my handle I beg you!

Glad you solved the problem, dj.

Next time, please don't post the same problem in two different forums. This is called "cross-posting" and is a violation of Rule 8, because it splits the discussion into two locations.
