There are plenty of motherboards featuring an on-board video chip and VGA output connector but are there any motherboards with an DVI output connector?

unlikely, integrated GPU tend to hit business and low markets in which DVI out is not an wanted feature.

Thanks Solo,
It doesn't look too bad. Shame there isn't a more detailed motherboard/video spec!

idd it is the first i ever heard off.
Hope you are not using it for gaming purposes, but why do you want a integrated solution? there are plenty of good graphics card with DVI out who performs much better then integrated ones. Also take into account that those integrated solutions also use up your RAM.

I'm looking for something that's quite compact, that we can use on exhibition stands.
We don't like to put too much in them (not even ROM drives) as they have a tendency to get pinched. They will however, most likely be connected to a big screen.

...there are no big secrets really. However we found that by adopting an 100% confidentiality policy, clients that would not have used us (because we might have been working for their competitors) started to use us!
Anyway I'm virtually out of it altogether now, due to illness.... :(
That said, many of my friends work in the movie and TV commercial making business, some of whom, send me their digi-beta show-reels for conversion to Mpeg2/VOB DVD and files suitable for downloading via the internet. So thankfully I'm able to keep up with all the current and emerging A/V technologies.
