TMPGEnc Motion Menu Audio Problem

Hello all. I am using TMPGEnc DVD Author v 1.5 to make a DVD with mutiple different movie clips. I've used the standard static menus in the past just fine. I now want to explore the motion menus. Choosing the motion menu option, I then pick some VOB clip. I get a little prevue window where I can see the VOB I chose, watch it play, and here the audio. However, the problem is some VOB's will display fine with audio and some VOB's will not have any audio. It is as if TMPGEnc won't import the audio section of the VOB, because the volume icon is greyed out. The VOB I want happens to have a Dolby Digital (AC-3),48000 Hz Stereo, 192 kbps audio stream. I know this because if I want to import this VOB as a normal movie clip into TMPGEnc, it will process just fine. So in summary, I can import the VOB as a movie and watch/hear the clip fine as a movie, but if I try to use the same clip in the motion menu, the audio does not work. The other random VOB's I tried that did provide me audio in the motion menu had multiple audio streams associated with it. Is there perhaps a problem with the motion menu not being able to hand the AC-3 format?

When a picture in an MPEG-1 or an MPEG-2 file is specified as a background picture, the audio from these files will be played. The audio has to be MPEG-1 Audio Layer2 or Linear PCM. (AC-3 cannot be used).

Thanks Dimmer for the clarification. Do you or anyone know if the TMPGEnc Sound Plug-in AC-3 add on will solve this problem? Specificially will the add on address a person's desire to specify a motion menu background with a file that only has AC-3 audio in it?
