That's what I get everytime I try to download AutoGK. Download Manager is not running. I tried downloading with the download manager but it just displays the download manager's name in internet explorer and doesn't work. I thought it might be something to do with cookies or firewall but firefox wont download either. I tried the other downloads on autogk.net but they're not downloading as well. I had downloaded a previous version of AutoGK from the site a few days back and everything worked then. I had a problem with downloading from doom9.org downloads page but the refferer setting in my download manager (getright) resolved that.

Is this a one-off problem with my computer? What do I do to download AutoGK? Is there an alternative download location. I tried the different mirrors but all gave the same error.

Any help on the matter would be appreciated.

Thanks

Anshu

I had the same problems using Firefox. As far as I know you just need to make sure you are sending a referrer. I installed PrefButtons in my Firefox and dragged the 'Send Referrer' checkbox to my button bar from the Customize screen and just check that whenever I need to download Gordian Knot or AutoGK or XviD.

You can find the Firefox extension for this here:

Hey Schrade,

Thanks for the tip. i installed the prefbuttons extensions and tried it. Didn't work the first time around but after disabling the firewall it worked. Thanks :)

My download manager is configured to send referrer as well... can't figure out why it still wont work and IE won't do it either... Anyways don't matter anymore... i'm converting my religion, now worshipping FireFox "The Browser, ReLoaded"
