Hybrid source / pulldown / subtitles

I got this hybrid source dvd and I want to add subtitles to it. I'm demuxing the video / audio streams and using DVDmaestro to author it including subtitles. Problem is... after applying pulldown on this video it changes from 54:00 to 1:08.00 total time (both 2:3 pd and 2:3 pd drop-frame). If I load the pulldown version in DVDmaestro, audio is out of synch but I can import chapters. When I load the original m2v file it wont allow me to import subtitles. I really don't know what to do.

Is there a specific way to do pulldown on hybrid source without affecting total movie duration ?

K.. just figured it out. I just need to use pulldown files to import subtitles and chapters, then I delete them and load the original one to compile dvd. Worked perfectly.
