Hi, I'm wondering if ScenAid can be used after demuxing with DIF4U without reencoding? I've edited the subtitles in the uncut version of Kill Bill so that they only come on during the Jap speaking parts, but when I import the ScenAid script, I first get an error saying that it can't find the .mpv.m2v file and is importing a placeholder. (I have just the .m2v) So I rename it to .mpv.m2v then get this warning:

Warning The duration of MPEG video file "C:\_VFtpdRoot\Temp\VTS03\VTS__03_P01.P.16~9_1.mpv.m2v" has changed.

I ignore it then try to mux, get about 30% done and then get the error:

Error Video or Audio Buffer underflow: (Dts: 537542737, SCR 537542756)
Error dvd_mux : DoMux Multiplexing Error
Error Terminated Multiplexing (kill-VTS03_001_Track_t.vob).
Error Total bitrate is too HIGH. Please reduce the stream bitrate or the number of stream.
Error Multiplex is failed.
Error Multiplexing failed, Track "VTS03_001_Track"

Error MuxFromDB:MuxVTS failed
Error Multiplex failed
Error DVD Video files could not be created

What is the problem...is it because ScenAid is expecting the assets to have gone thru BatchCCE? Why is my movie longer than expected? I've tryed doing searches and can't seem to find any relevent information.

BTW My chapters progressivley get out of sync with the original...why is this if I haven't reencoded the movie?

Thanks!

There is currently no support for using original assets. I thought about adding it but haven't looked into it yet.

The bitrate being too high is possible though. I'm not sure what the max bitrate Scenarist allows.

I'm not sure what your saying about the chapters?... you mean if you reauthor with Scenarist they get more out of sync or the original itself is out..

Well the version I'm working with is a copy itself that's been CCE encoded previously. When I import everything into Scenarist, the chapters progressivly get out of sync with the original. Like the first couple chapters will be dead on, but as the movie progresses, the chapter points will slowly start to happen later and later than in the original movie. Since I'm working with a previously CCE encoded movie, shouldnt' they be dead on?
