Hi,

I was just wondering whether it is possilable to create a menu with different vobs..eg: create a compilation dvd , then somehow create a menu to direct to individcual songs... i don't want to have covert the vob from its original format..

Any help greatly appreciated

No, not without re-authoring i.e. "converting the vob".

Thanks for your responce, but if i convert the vob do i have to do the audio as well, as i dont want to loose any quality, and want to leave it as dts, dolby digital...

If i have to do this how or what prog to use...

Thanks in advance..

Yes, you have to do the audio as well, and no, you won't lose any quality.

What you need to do is demux the VOBs into audio and video streams using VobEdit, TMPGEnc, or ReJig. Then use one of many DVD authoring programs to create a new DVD with menus. Among these programs, TMPGEnc DVD Author and DVD-lab can import entire VOB files without demuxing.

Very few authoring programs (Scenarist, Maestro) can handle DTS.

Have you checked DvdReMake Pro? It will be somewhat easier if you have ifo files for the vobs.
