Well this is something interesting, I've tried everything, so my only hope is the rest of the DV community lol.

Here's the problem:

Last month i noticed all of the recent DVD Rips i have done, if they were multiple CDs, the 2nd and 3rd segement audio was about 30 seconds behind the video, then i noticed at the end of the 1st segment 30 seconds of audio was missing...

Anyway, using the segment feature and setting at 701MB ive tried multiple versions of Vdub Mod, today i gave up and got the AVISplitCalc program, which uses Nandub, and it STILL does the same thing.

As I said this isnt a problem i had before and now im just totally stumpted. The only other thing I havent tried is to manually split them myself, which is what im on my way to do now...hope this works..

hmmm, ive never used that function... does chaning the value to e.g. 700 help? and what about the manual splitting?

ive tried manual splitting, ive tried a few diff sizes for auto split, i am completely out of ideas and everything i have tried ends with the same result: 30 seconds of audio gets cut off early from the 1st half and gets added to the 2nd so its 30 seconds behind when the video starts on the 2nd half

I have a hunch that the issue lies in what you have used to make your recent rips, not vdub itself(or nandub) .... what app/method do you use? have you changed at the time the splitting errors started? if so, can you try to make a rip with another app/method/codec maybe?

ive used, and have been using Gordian Knot .28.8 which i do believe.

and the rips are fine if i leave them untouched they are perfectly in sync with everything else, i tried AutoGK but that wouldnt even work, it would do the compressability check and then say couldnt find AVI...
GK is better IMO anyway
