Problem reinstalling AGK

I had to reinstall Windows and many of my programs due to hardware problems. I installed AGK starting with the last full version, then the updates, but when I run it it stops at the comp. test stage with vDubMod saying:

Cannot determine file type of "D:\DVD_VIDEO\gk_tmp\s_comptest.avs"

I get the same message if I load any AVS into vDubMod or regular vDub. I tried manually reinstalling AviSynth 2.5, but it didn't help. Any ideas?

OK, it's working now. There must have been something missing when I installed Windows - I installed another app that must have filled the hole because not only AGK works after installing it but another program as well.
