CCE 2.50 or upgrade?

The guide located here:

still points to 2.50. Is it okay to upgrade to the newest version or should I stick with 2.50 if following this guide?

as mentioned in the guide, all versions of CCE are supported with the Big 3 Tools via the latest version of EclCCE, which is installed by default with BatchCCE, however if you are still using DoCCE you will have to manually load the latest EclCCE and from memory you will have to hex edit DoCCE to support the latest versions of CCE.

you can run a forum search to find all the details of altering DoCCE, however i suggest you upgrade to BatchCCE.

I noticed that later in the guide is does tell you what to do to upgrade cce to the latest version. I have upgraded both CCE and EclCCE. I am also using BatchCCE and so far no problems. Thanks!
