Dvd shrink is contantly giving me errors. mostly one that says something about cycle redundancy. it never gets past the inital opening of the dvd anymore. Is there anything i can do. My vendor says the dvd burner is working correctly. (not sure i believe em)
thanks for any help

I think the error you refer to is "cylcic redundancy". My reading and research on DVDShrink would indicate that this is most likely caused by a dirty or scratched disc that Shrink simply can't read. If you're not using it, you might try decrypting with DVDDecrypter (File mode), then opening the decrypted files in Shrink and processing from that point as you normally would.
One thing that's always worked well for me on error messages is to take a snapshot (screenshot/printscreen) and save it to file in the way you're most comfortable with. That way, you can tell us exactly what the error is you're getting....sometimes it makes a difference, especially to a search engine.
If none of this applies/helps, provide more details and come on back for another round.

hi,
perhaps you'll want to try to rip the dvd in iso mode with dvddecrypter and then mount the iso with deamon tools! this way you can operate dvdshrink as usual, but you will be sure to be able to read the data. it should show you if the error lies within dvdshrink or with your dvd rom /writer
cheers
