Splitting files with Virtual Dub

When selecting slpitting output file in the 'save'-menu in Virtual Dub it starts doing what it's supposed to, but when finished with one part of 700MB, it should start the next sequence, right? With me it just keeps encoding the first 700Mb over an dover and over......up to 25 times, then it gives me the warning not enough diskspace.

Someone got some help over here??

How big is the original file? Did you set a start and end marker in vdub before saving the video? More details would be helpfull for you and for everybody!
