source directory error in vdubmod

I encode using xvid and have the stats file directory set to whatever the source is from. however when I use the built in batch function of vdubmod it always saves the stats file to the directory of the first source file. I have tried it with divx and the same problem. is this just a glitch with vdub mod and if so is there a way to correct the problem?
