Hi,
Ive started using DVD2SVCD to create CVD backups of my dvd movies.
Firstly, I wanted the try doing an MPEG 5.1 soundtrack, however whenever i sellect this option in DVD2SVCD the program which it uses freezes, and results in a failed project, as it has no audio!
Secondly, on my first attempt, i used CVD Subtitles (im aiming for 100% CVD compliant DISC's) but when played back on both of my home DVD players, aswell as in WinDVD there was no option to sellect the subtitles, as if they were not encoded on the disc:confused:
And one more thing, could someone please clear up the difference between stereo, joint-stereo and dual channel. I kind of get the difference between the first to, but this dual channel is confusing me, is that what VCD's use when they have 2 audio tracks (1 per channel) ?
BTW The Disc used was a Project A (R2). However, i had the same audio problems with Star Wars, attack of the clones (R2).
My PC is a 2.5Ghz P4 running XP Home.
Many Thanks,
Lee.
