Alternatives to DVDAuthor

I´m using DVDAuthor + spumux + mplex in one program of DVD authoring (something like a GUI) but I would like to know if there are other good tools of DVD authoring with cli support ... or DVDAuthor is the best?

PS: I would specialy ask for other subtitler muxer (don't like spumux).

I would use DVDSupTools or SrtToSup, and then mux with IfoEdit in authoring mode, so this is not complete "cli" solution. You can use resulting VOBs with DVDAuthor. If there are chapters inside then first split to cells with vStrip.

What's wrong with DVDAuthor?

my problem isn't really with the DVDAuthor itself but with the spumux (i don't like it).
