I am trying to learn more about the whole dvd2svcd process, by using the log file, and trying to perform the commands manually or studying their syntax.
For an avi2svcd conversion, the first thing done is "Audio Extraction" which produces an Extracted_audio_1.mpa file. After that, madplay and besweet are used, and I can understand those commands to some extent.
What is performing this first extraction, or alternatively, what app could I use to simulate/duplicate the extraction to an mpa file. I usually see something about "nandubs" in the log file, but I don't find any nandubs program.
Here is what I mean:

I see under the audio tab, there is an "internal" or a "VFW" choice. What could I use to extract the audio to .mpa that would be suitable for further conversion in the next steps (madplay, besweet).
