problem with front rear speakers

Hi I'm working with matrox rtx 100, priemere 6.5, dvdit 2.5
& the problem...
I export dvd file from priemere...to sonic dvdit
and do dvd
sometims it plays on all the speakers, front & rear & somtimes only the front....why ?

sometims it plays on all the speakers, front & rear & somtimes only the front....why ? Probably, sometimes you let DVDit encode the sound to AC-3 and sometimes you don't. Depending on your receiver, it may be possible to use some sound effects that would make PCM sound play through all the speakers.

well I encode with dolby stereo option....
but after some testing I think the guy just mess with the reciver :)

Yeah, it's probably receiver settings.

or its the 'dolby surround' setting in the ac3 when encoding (and the interpretation of said setting by the amp).
