I tried to rip a scene from T3 and got the Vob File, no Audio. Tried demuxing WHILE I ripped it and still no audio. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Try DVDShrink if all your wanting is a scene. (start/end function)

Im pretty positive you did get audio. The players just often dont like to pick it up. That's what happens when you just try and double click on a vob file to play it.

If it exists, demuxing (properly) will give you an ac3/dts file.

I've tried DVD Decrypter AND DVD Shrink and I get no audio with either one. I've ripped plenty of other scenes with no problem, just this one movie is giving me trouble. I've tried de-muxing ALL audio streams and I still get nothing. Seems strange that this one movie would give me trouble when everything else I've tried works fine.

so what, you get an ac3 / dts file (or whatever) but it's empty?

If that's the case, it would appear there really isnt any audio contained in the chunk of vob you're ripping from.

i have the same problem too.
When i rip scenes in IFO mode from the dual layer disc, the main movie is ok, ant other parts(trailers etc.) are without the sound.WinDVD show that sound is not available:rolleyes: .
If i play trailers from the disc, all is fine.

Any suggestions about this?

I ripped T3 as usual and it worked fine.

As for audio. The other day I tried playing Die Another Day in PowerDVD XP by loading the VOB files manually. It played fine in beginning, but when it started playing the second VOB the audio disappeared and none of the others after that would play audio either :(
