I'll try to explain my problem as good as possible

Scenario goes like this:
I create a PGC in Scenarist with, let's say, 4 chapters/programs and I don't set any UOP's.
Now when I play the title with PowerDVD and I'm watching the last chapter, when I press Next nothing happens of course because there is no next chapter. But I am able to press Next !

Now on a commercial title I own, same scenario, PGC with 4 chapters.
When I'm watching the last chapter the Next button is greyed out, I'm unable to press out. Next works in the previous chapters though.
So is this a UOP on a PG level ?
Because I can't seem to set a UOP on a PG level with Scenarist.
(The IFO of the commercial title doesn't show any relevant UOP's. )

On the other hand Ralph LaBarge's book says you CAN set UOP's at a program level.

Thx.

Because I can't seem to set a UOP on a PG level with Scenarist. In Track Editor, you can set UOP for any scene and therefore cell. Select the scene, go to Properties - double-click UOP - set the UOPs as appropriate.

Moreover, since every NAV packet in VOB files stores UOP information, potentially you can set them on any level you like. IFO files only contain PGC-level UOPs.

Thanks a lot, I certainly overlooked it in Scenarist

Additionally, any idea how to find UOP's in an existing VOB ?

Additionally, any idea how to find UOP's in an existing VOB ? In VobEdit, look at any NAV pack address 0x0035. It's a 4-byte value with the same format as in IfoEdit. DVD Decrypter for example has an option to reset this value to 0 during the ripping. Since NAV packs come few times a second, it's not practical to set UOPs in VOB files manually.

My only goal is to find the original UOP's at a PG level in order to insert them in Scenarist when re-authoring.

Right now in VobEdit, all I see is a value that doesn't give me much.
Again thanks for the info.

The next button will also get greyed out on the last program if there is no next link in the PGC. Have you checked that?

Yes, I have, I didn't set a Next PGC link and there is only 1 PGC in the title anyway.

I can easily solve the problem by setting UOP7 (NextPG) in the last scene of the PGC, but the bigger thing is to find the original UOP's in every scene.
I know this won't change much if they're missing in the reauthored version, I just wanted to re-create everything.
