I find myself searching my video storage drive repeatedly to get the right avi file to process. I would like the search to default to detail view. However even if I save a search, the moment I search for *.avi the view defaults to bitmaps. I have tried the solutions in the Windows XP Annoyances book but I can't get any of them to work for avi files. Any solutions?
