I have a wide sreen movie that I would like to convert to Full screen.
what i want to do is remove the black screen from the top o the movie and I also would like to remove the bottom one.
Can some body please tell me how Can i do that and what software will I need?

hi,
well so lets make sure i got this right:
you got a 16:9 movie, want to crop the black bars and then resize to 4:3 ar? you do know that this will heavily alter the appearance of the movie within?! faces will appear long, circles will be displayed as elipses!
anyway, if you really want to do that, you can either do it with virtualdubmod or with avisynth. documentation can be found on www.doom9.org aswell as their respective homepages!
I have to say that i do not recommend this method though! as it will detoriate the image too much! if you really want 4:3 ar, you will have to crop from the sides too...
or even better, leave it in 16:9 and keep the full information :)
also you'll have to keep in mind that this kind of changes to the video frames will require reencoding, unless you do them real time via a directshow filter!
