Has Source Creator improved on encoding speeds?

I've used TMPGEnc before for encoding avi files to mpeg2 and was impressed with the quality. The only drawback was the slow encoding speeds. The new Source Creator 2.0 stand alone encoder looks exciting but can anyone verify if the encoding speeds has increased compared to prior TMPGEnc versions?

Encoding with filters is faster.

For example:
If you compare TMPGEnc Source Creator 2.0 with the Noise Reduction filter turned on and TMPGEnc 2.5 with the Noise Reduction filter turned on, TMPGEnc Source Creator 2.0 will encode faster.

The filters have been speed optimized in Source Creator 2.0 and even more optimized in TMPGEnc Xpress 3.0.
