When I use DVD Shrink to rip without compression, it tries to buffer 128 MB of data. The problem is that my system only has 128 MB of physical memory! As you can imagine, the constant swapping slows everything down to a crawl. Does anybody have an idea how I can limit the buffer to something more reasonable?

Well 256MB is pretty much required for 3.1.7.x version. I doubt trying this or that will work. I guess the only thing to tell you beside buying a new memory stick is to use the old dvdshrink 3.0 beta 5 version

i don't know this is work or not,
usually i'm using shrink with daemon-tools and copy title to harddisk,
1. when using shrink + daemon-tools - with option open disk (this is sometime have problem with buffer)
and the alternatively;
2. i'm using shrink + daemon-tools - with option open files or
3. using shrink directly from dvd-rom
the number 3. is result too if you have VTS_0..._0.VOB or a couple vob files have a zero size, i don't know this bugs is from dvddecrypter or dvdshrink?
