Ok, I'm capturing video with my Creative Video Blaster off of a cable tv signal. The video is captured in mpeg2 and I'm working on getting it converted to divx or xvid... I'm not particularly picky. Anyway, I've got it all working pretty well, but a few of my video files have what looks like some small signal jump or bad reception spot in them, and from that point on all my audio and video is out of sync. I'm using virtualdub mod to get them from mpeg2 to something a bit easier to work with, but with these files no matter what format I take them to, the audio and video gets out of sync. The original mpeg's are fine. Any suggestions would be great. I've tried cutting out specifically those frames that are causing the problem, but it doesn't help (the audio still gets out of sync right after the cut). I've also tried rippping the audio and video seperate, though I was still using virtualdub mod for both (I'll try dvd2avi as soon as I've got a chance).
