Greetings everyone,
I have been using CCE with DVD-RB for a while now and have been very successful in my process until late.
The last several backups have turned out with very poor video quality.
I have made backups of larger files and had the video turn out near perfect. So is there anything out there i can use to clean the video up more, or any other suggestions.
Thanks
If you want better quality use a higher bitrate, not much else will help. You can of course filter the source, I'm not sure if thats what you're asking, but it will not have any extreme effect on quality.

Actually what is happening is
Now with two differeant files that have been between 7 to 8 GB
(Now i know they are not going to come out perfect!)
the video has been very fuzzy and choppy in some areas.

I have played with the quality several times.
I have yet to waste media, but i make the image after encoding and the mount it in deamon tools.
Menus and everything turn out fine, but the main movie just bites in some parts.
I dont know what else to play with really.
I guess ill start over from scratch.
These are first two that have come out poor, any others that have been that big have still turned out excellent quality.

So, i guess thats all
Use bitrateviewer to check the ABR of the portion in question and see if perhaps DVDRB is not giving it enough bitrate as I think it splits and encodes by CellID and the problem cells may be encoded at a low ABR. That program is in beta so it may be a bug?
