Help: aspect ratio

Hi all,

I'm trying to backup a DVD to DVD and want to keep the 16:9 screen un-changed. In one of the guides I read, it mentioned to set the option of "Aspect ratio" in D2S to Anamorphic (no borders, encoded as 16:9). The problem is, I don't have that "anamorphic" option in my D2S. I only have 2 options in the dropdown list
1. 4:3 (no borders, encoded as 4:3)
2. 16:9 (borders added, encoded as 4:3)

I have version 1.2.2.B1 of D2S.

What do I need to have the "anamorphic" option?

First of all,......you have selected DVD as the output (on the misc. tab) right? It should keep the aspect ratio from the original DVD.

You can also set the DVD2SVCD level to advanced (also on the misc. tab), that will give you the anamorphic 16x9 option for SVCD mode as well.
