Hi,
I have searched this forum for the NTSC Pure Interlace and found couple of threads addressing the issue but I am still confused.
I have a pure NTSC interlaced source. And I can say this based on looking into the DVD2AVI output file and following the following thread:

Also I followed the following thread:

My output is TV and using the suggessions made by DDOGG in the second thread above I am still getting scan lines on my TV. The only thing that is different was that I selected the CCE INTERLACE template posted by DDOGG in the STICKY under the Encoder Tab under Advanced Settings.
So in short here's what I did:
1) Under DVD2AVI Tab OFF was selected.
2) Under Encoder TAB/Advanced Settings selected the INTERLACE template for CCE. I am using CCE SP 2.67.00.23 and using the DDOGG CCE templates posted in the STICKY of this forum.
3) Under the conversion tab selected KEEP INTERLACED.
Rest everything was set to defaults. I am using D2S 1.2.2 Build 1. Here's the D2S log:
