weird flashing

hi I decided to try out dvd-rebuilder 0.52c using the guide here. my first 2 backups with dvd-rebuilder using cce 2.50sp with eclcce, I did freaks and geeks disk 1 and 2. after the encoding is done I notice that occasionally during the episodes when the camera makes cuts it makes a quick white flash on the screen thats annoying and is not their in the original,it does it at least 10-15 times during the episode. does anyone know what that is and how I can get rid of it. I am using all of the latest versions of avisynth 2.5 and mpeg2dec3dg and dvddecrypeter. also I tried x-files season 3 disk 2 and their was no flashing during the episodes but when playing the first episode the third chapter would skip and i would have to hold rewind down to go back and then it would skip again at the same spot. should I try to uninstall everything and then reinstall it again.

thanks I was assuming this was a mistype, but this is the third instance I've seen of a reference to 0.52b or 0.52c -- version 0.52 hasn't had any subversions... am I missing something?

Yes I would reinstall again with the latest version.

sorry for not replying sooner, I thought I had fixed the problem. I tried backing up the dead zone season 2 disk 1 and throughout the episodes when their is a camera cut the screen will go into a quick flash showing lines on the screen and then back to normal, its very distracting. I reinstalled everything and currently using the up to date version of RB. any suggestions on what I can do to fix this.
