Saving avi file backward

Hi !

I'm trying to do this little dance animation when playing forward and backward a sequence. How can I do that with virtual dub or any other software (free if possible) ? Forward is only a matter of cutting the scene right but i just can't save the file backward...

One of the standard filters in AVIsynth can do just that. I don't know what happens to the audio.

Also, be very aware of interlaced material. You need to swap the field order or you will get really nasty results.

AVIsynth is free (and very good). It is script driven.
